Bauma 2025, held in Munich from April 7 to 13, once again confirmed itself as the world’s leading event for the construction machinery industry. With around 600,000 visitors from over 200 countries and 3,601 exhibitors from 57 nations, it showcased the industry’s full innovative and networking power.
This edition was also an extraordinary moment for Cast Group, giving us the opportunity to showcase some of our key strengths — in particular, the demo area and the exclusive preview of the WorkyQuad WX1000 prototype.
One of our main goals for Bauma 2025 was not simply to showcase static models, but to create real, hands-on experiences for interested operators. That’s why we set up a dedicated Demo Area, where visitors could see our machines in action, test them in real conditions, and evaluate their hydraulic and dynamic performance on site.
The Demo Area proved to be a strong point of attraction: operators, technicians, and curious onlookers gathered to see our high-flow systems, machine stability, and responsiveness in action. It was a valuable opportunity to engage directly with those who operate the machines, gather on-site feedback, and answer technical questions in real time.
Thanks to this hands-on approach, many visits to our stand turned into real, practical evaluations: those who had initially just observed moved on to experiment, explore, and put our machines to the test. It created a direct bridge between the product and the end user.
The true highlight of our participation was the presentation of the WorkyQuad WX1000 prototype. This new model represents a significant evolution in Cast’s range of compact tracked skid steer loaders.
According to the technical datasheet (already published on the company website), the WX1000 boasts:
Kubota D1105 engine with 25 HP;
“High Flow” hydraulic system delivering 68 l/min;
Tipping load (with counterweights) of 1,285 kg;
Compact dimensions: 2,160 × 910 × 1,420 mm (L × W × H);
Estimated empty weight around 1,350 kg.
At the exhibition, we gave visitors the opportunity to closely examine every construction detail, from hydraulic components to internal layout, as well as the machine’s dynamic behavior on the gravel terrain in the Demo Area.
The concept behind this model is clear: to offer a compact, robust machine with top-tier hydraulic power and versatility for job sites that require small footprints but high performance.
The feedback we received at the end of the event was very encouraging. Many visitors highlighted how the Demo Area made the perception of our machines more tangible, distinguishing us with a “try to believe” approach. The WX1000 prototype also attracted attention from specialized media and international operators curious about technical innovations.
In a fair environment that focused on themes such as sustainability, digitalization, automation, and efficient transmissions, our strategy of emphasizing live testing created a distinctive added value.
In the months to come, we plan to gather the feedback received, refine the prototype, and transform it into a production model, with potential customizations for different markets.
